Manager - Accounting
Description
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other international standards.
- Present financial reports to senior leadership, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial adjustments as necessary.
- Manage GL functions, including reconciliations and data integrity.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date ledger accounts and compliance with corporate accounting standards.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and risks, providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate financial metrics into operational strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external and internal audits, ensuring all documentation is complete and responses to inquiries are timely.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards across all relevant regions.
- Lead and supervise the accounting and compliance operation of various international offices across globe.
- Monitor the external consultants for timely delivery as per the scope of work.
- Ensure compliance with various international accounting standards and practices.
- Provide guidance on international financial policies, adapting to regulatory updates and requirements.
- Lead the management and utilization of ERP systems (preferably MS D365) to optimize accounting processes.
- Ensure accurate data reporting and consistency across financial records.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
- Extensive experience in MS D365 or other ERP systems and Excel skills.
- Minimum of 12 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
- Strong background in IT or ITES industries, with demonstrated experience in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar).
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with international accounting standards.
- Experience with financial consolidation tools and analytical software.
